Greece Passes Austerity Laws In Critical Vote

GREECE PASSES AUSTERITY LAWS IN CRITICAL VOTE

Greek parliament has passed crucial reform legislation, allowing it to press ahead with plans for a 3rd bailout.

Seven Eurozone creditor countries including Germany and Finland will now vote on the deal agreed on Monday morning in Brussels.

Meanwhile, riot police fired tear gas on around 5,000 protesters in Athens last night.

Greeks voted overwhelmingly against more austerity just 2 weeks ago.

This protester says they’ll keep fighting against the current system of government:

“Revolution, that’s what we are fighting for” he said.

“We’re not able to do it in this morning, but in a little time we will be able”.

“There’s no way to survive in that European Union if you do not control the banks, if you do not control the institutions, the State” he added.
