Having been unanimously elected, The Rotary Club of Wexford has a new President. Respected local businessman and broadcaster Karl Fitzpatrick is the 43rd President of the Club. The Rotary Club of Wexford is a service club which provides individuals with an opportunity to make a positive difference in their community.

The President leads and motivates the club, ensuring that club members feel inspired and connected to each other.
What does the role of President include:
- Preside over club and board meetings
- Appoint committee chairs and members
- Conduct club assemblies
- Create a budget and manage club finances, including an annual audit
- Develop a safe environment for youth participants
- Work with the district governor and assistant governor
