Members of the Regional Independents Group in Dail Eireann have been defending their support of the government in voting against a three year ban on rent increases.
The motion was proposed by Sinn Fein and voted on in the Dail yesterday.
Spokesperson for the group and Wexford TD Verona Murphy said she has received no complaints in relation to rent increases:
