Nearly 11% of commercial properties in County Wexford are lying vacant.
That's according to new figures published by Geodirectory. The new research carried out by the company looked at the figures from the end of last year that showed that Wexford has over 28 thousand addresses vacant across the county. The national average has increased to 13.5% with Sligo the worst affected county at 18%. In terms of the major towns in Wexford, New Ross stands at 30.8% with Enniscorthy at 15.7%. Gorey was the one that saw an decrease in vacancies down to 9.5%.
