17% boost in car sales in wexford for 2016

2016  was a good year for car salesmen in county Wexford with a 17% increase in sales for the year.

New car sales jumped from 2962 cars in 2015 to 3484 cars in 2016 - an increase of over 17% Car sales hit record numbers across the country with 146,000 cars sold nationwide last year. Total new car sales are now the highest they've been since 2008. The Hyundai Tucson was the most popular car model sold this year while Toyota was the top selling brand for 2016
