70,000 euro worth of stolen goods discovered in lorry leaving rosslare
Gardaí have arrested three men in connection with the discovery of stolen property in a lorry at Rosslare Europort overnight. In a joint operation between Revenue and Gardaí, a white Mercedes was stopped and searched as it was about to board a ferry for Cherbourg. Gardaí discovered bicycles, power tools, garden machinery and beer kegs - all of which are believed to have been stolen. Three men in their 20's and 30's - who are Romanian nationals with addresses in Ireland - were arrested. They're being detained at Wexford Garda station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
