A post mortem is due to be carried out on the body of a woman found in Kerry yesterday morning.
The remains of the woman, named locally as Susan Dunne, was found by a neighbour shortly before 10am in a bedroom of the bungalow she shared with her 19 year old son Patrick in Lixnaw. It's expected Gardai will launch a murder inquiry once the results of the examination are known. It's understood that Ms Dunne, who was in her early 50's, had suffered head injuries.
