The judge in the trial of Anglo Irish Bank's former chairman Sean Fitzpatrick is dealing with a legal issue in the absence of the jury.
The 68-year-old denies 27 counts of misleading Anglo's auditors and furnishing false information to them between 2002 and 2008. Three of the 15 jurors sworn in last week were excused from serving this afternoon and three others took their places.
