Another award for brooklyn and saoirse ronan
Just days after getting three Oscar nominations, the movie Brooklyn, which was filmed in Enniscorthy has received another prestigious award. Saoirse Ronan has been named British/Irish actress of the year at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards. The 21 year old who grew up in Co. Carlow, won the prize at last night's ceremony for her roles in the films Brooklyn and Lost River.
