Carlow company faces closure
Up to a hundred workers at Dan Morrisseys in Carlow met at the plants headquarters in Bennekerry this morning amidst concerns for the future of the business. It's understood the company went to court this morning in the hopes of having an examiner appointed. The Bennekerry and Clonmelsh sites are both under lock and key this morning with security present. 160 people are employed by the company in Carlow.
