Chemist targetted in enniscorthy robbery

An attempted robbery was foiled by a security system in Enniscorthy overnight. Thieves did manage to take some money before the system was activated at Sam McCauley chemists on Court Street. Reporter, Jimmy Gahan, says this is the 4th robbery of business premises and houses in the Court Street/Friary Hill area in as many weeks. He says local residents and business owners are now concerned a gang is targetting the area, however Gardai believe those responsible are local. Evidence from the four robberies will now be examined to see if there's a link, however.
