The commercial vacancy rate in Wexford has risen to 10.9% in December 2025, according to the latest GeoDirectory Commercial Buildings Report.
While this marks a slight increase from the previous year, Wexford's vacancy rate remains lower than the national average of 14.6%, the highest ever recorded in Ireland.
In Wexford's urban areas, New Ross saw the highest vacancy rate at 23.5%, while Gorey had the lowest at 9.8%.
Across Ireland, 30,687 commercial units were vacant in Q4 2025, with counties Sligo and Donegal experiencing the highest rates.
