Wexford farmers are supporting their fellow farmers in Donegal after last weeks devastating floods and landslides in the Inishowen Peninsula.
A load of silage bales has already gone due to the generosity of the Creane family of Kilmyshall. More is required to deal with the unprecedented situation that has arisen there. The Department of Agriculture has asked Teagasc to carry out a survey of lands to assess the supports required. Government Chief Whip and Donegal TD Joe McHugh says now is the time for farmers to come forward.
