Three crew members were rescued from a fishing vessel after it sunk about a mile off Rosslare Harbour early this afternoon. The Rosslare lifeboat was launched shortly after noon and picked up two of the men in the water. Another man was rescued by a fishing boat that was in the area. All three were taken to shore by Rosslare Lifeboat and transferred to Wexford General Hospital suffering from the early stages of hypothermia. The Waterford Recue Helicopter was involved in surveying the area for debris and potential pollution for a time afterwards.
