A well-known County Wexford heritage site has been partially closed following a break-in and deliberate vandalism.
Dunbrody Abbey have reported that individuals entered the site sometime between Saturday night and early Sunday morning, causing damage which has left the interior unsafe for visitors.
Following discussions with OPW staff, access inside the Abbey has been suspended until further notice.
The surrounding grounds remain open, while the incident is being formally reported to Gardaí.
