A Wexford youth arts group has been awarded almost €25,000 in funding through the Arts Council’s Youth Ensembles Scheme.
Doulab for Circus and Dance in Wexford will receive €24,810 to support creative opportunities for young people.
The scheme is aimed at those aged between 10 and 24, helping them develop ambitious and original work across different artforms while building confidence, leadership skills and community connections.
A total of more than €246,000 has been awarded to 13 groups nationwide this year.
Minister for Culture Patrick O’Donovan said access to the arts can have an important positive impact on the health, wellbeing and development of children and young people.
