Elderly man seriously assaulted on wexford main street
Gardai are continuing their investigations into a serious unprovoked assault on an elderly man in broad daylight on the Main Street in Wexford yesterday evening. The incident happened just after 6pm on South main Street. An eye witness to the attack said the man was hit in the face with such force that he fell to the ground hitting his head. He was then kicked in the head. Gardaí arrived at the scene shortly afterwards and arrested a man.
