Enniscorthy business to close with 7 job losses
Seven jobs are to go in Enniscorthy with theNews that Donohue's hardware is to close next week. The business, which is based at Temple Shannon, had been in receivership since November and it had been hoped a buyer could be found. However attempts to sell the business have been unsuccessful. Local Fine Gael Councillor Paddy Kavanagh spoke to South East Radio's Morning Mix; "Well eh it will close next week and that's the information I have and...seven long serving employees will be out of work" he said. "It's also a body blow to the Temple Shannon area which is eh...a lot of businesses have closed there over the years and things arn't looking for the area at the moment" he added.
