Family of irish man killed in the us fighting to bring his children home
The family of an Irish man killed in North Carolina say they have grave concerns about the well-being of his children. The body of Jason Corbett was found unresponsive with head injuries following an alleged assault last Sunday morning. He had been living in the US for the last four years, when he and his children moved there after he met his second wife. Now members of his family are over there trying to bring his children home. Dave Lynch - Jason's brother-in-law who is named as the children's guardian in his will. He says they are currently in the care of social services. "They have allowed the step mother to care for them while this is being sorted" he said "The people that have the children now are the people that were in the house the night that Jason as killed, and the police have issued a statement saying they are not looking for anybody outside the house". "We have grave concerns for the health and well being of these children" he added.
