Footballer and convicted rapist ched evans apologises
Ched Evans has broken his silence and issued an apology as it's confirmed his deal with football club Oldham is off. The convicted rapist maintains his innocence but has apologised for the effect of his actions on people - including the woman concerned. Earlier Oldham decided not to sign the striker after threats were made against the football club's board members and their families.
