Former anglo boss has bankruptcy bid rejected
David Drumm has been accused of telling "outright lies" in court by a US judge and has had his bid to be declared bankrupt rejected. The judge at a bankruptcy court in Boston says evidence given by the former Anglo Irish Bank CEO was "not remotely credible". The ruling could now allow the former Anglo Irish Bank boss to renew its legal action in Ireland over millions in unpaid loans. Irish Times Correspondent in the US Simon Carswell says the judge found the bank had established many times over that there was cause to deny David Drumm his bankruptcy bid.
