FURTHER INQUIRIES INTO MOTHER AND BABY HOMES LIKELY - MINISTER A Redemptorist priest says there are still many unanswered questions surrounding the Galway mother and baby controversy. It was revealed on Friday that a "significant" number of infants and children were buried on the grounds of a former institution in Tuam. Senior Government Ministers have today indicated that the Gardaí may become involved in the investigation. And Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald also told today's Sunday Independent that inquiries at other former homes around the country are also likely.
