The body of a man who was found on Cox's Lane in Carlow on last Tuesday has been identified.
Gardai had earlier issued an appeal for help in his identification. In a statement they say are satisfied the now know who the dead man is. It is believed the man is of Polish or East European origin and Gardai are looking to get in contact with any family he may have had.
