Gardai investigate link between louth deaths
Post mortem examinations are taking place on a couple in their 60s from Co. Louth, whose deaths are thought to be linked. The body of Marie Quigley was found with serious head injuries at a house in Rathmore, near Hackballscross yesterday afternoon. It came just hours after her husband Jim Quigley lost his life when he crashed into a car and a truck while driving the wrong way on the M1 motorway. Gardai are investigating a number of lines of inquiry, including that it was a murder-suicide. Father Gerry Campbell is the parish priest of Kilkerley. He says it is devastatingNews. "It's just completely shocking and it's a numb feeling that has come over the whole parish" he said. Indeed our hearts go and to the family and their children...we really pray for the children - it's devastating for them" he added.
