A Gorey Councillor has called on the Garda Commissioner to provide more members of the force in the town.
17% of the total Garda numbers serve the Gorey area in a town that is growing at a massive rate. In 2013, Gorey lost it's divisional status during the recession and police on the beat numbers haven't been the same since. Speaking to South East Radio, Fianna Fail representative Andrew Bolger says North Wexford should be properly accommodated by the force.
