Tributes are being paid to the people that lost their lives on the Herald of Free Enterprise which sank off the coast Zeebrugge in Belgium 30 years ago today.
The ship capsized causing the deaths of 193 people making it one of the deadliest sea disasters in recent times. Larry O'Brien, who is now a Wexford County Councillor, told the Morning Mix about his experience being on the ship. He says he'll never forget the panic he felt when the boat started to turn. He also helped rescue a number of people thanks to fishing them out of the ship with a rope.
