A new passive housing initiative involving timber framed houses has been launched by Housing Minister Simon Coveney in Enniscorthy this morning.
The NZEB or Nearly Zero Energy Buildings are gaining a lot of attention from local authorities around the country in a quick and efficient way to ease the housing crisis. Chief Executive of the Construction Industry Federation Tom Parlon who is in Enniscorthy for the conference says its the way of the future to address pressing housing needs.
