HURRICANE HERMINE IS ABOUT TO HIT LAND A state of emergency has been declared in more than 50 Florida counties as they prepare for Hurricane Hermine. It's packing winds of eighty miles per hour and is expected to hit land in the next few hours. The state governor has described the hurricane as potentially life-threatening.
