Irish Rail and Dublin Bus services are resuming after being disrupted by Bus Éireann pickets this morning.
Virtually all trains and buses were cancelled by the action, with management saying it was completely unexpected. Union bosses say they were also taken by surprise, and called on their members to return to work. It's the 8th day of strike action at Bus Éireann - in a row over cost cutting measures as the company faces insolvency. Irish Rail says it expects its services to be fully operational by lunchtime, but spokesman Barry Kenny is still warning of possible delays.
