Irish Rail has committed to develop Rosslare Europort under its submission to the Ireland 2040 National Planning Framework.
The company says thier two priorities for the port will be to deepen it to accommodate larger vessels and to develop a rail freight interface. Wexford Independent TD Mick Wallace is welcoming the submission and says its important Irish Rail commits to the future of the Europort.
