Former Wexford politician, businessman and broadcaster Ivan Yates has given his first live interview about his new book, The Game of Life: And How to Win It.
Yates joined Morning Mix this morning, ahead of the book’s Wexford launch tomorrow evening.
The book draws on more than five decades of experience across politics, business and broadcasting, exploring the lessons Yates has learned along the way, including leadership, resilience, communication and dealing with setbacks.
Yates was first elected to the Dáil for Wexford in 1981 and later served as Minister for Agriculture. He went on to build a career in business before becoming a familiar voice in Irish broadcasting.
The Game of Life: And How to Win It is published by Gill Books.
The Wexford launch takes place at the Wexford Book Centre tomorrow, Friday September 18th, at 6.30pm.
