Man airlifted to hospital following quad-bike accident in courtown
A man suffered potential spinal injuries in a quad-bike accident on a beach in County Wexford yesterday. The man, aged in his 30s, was thrown from the vehicle at Roney Beach South at Donaghmore, near Courtown, at around 6pm. An ambulance crew from Wexford and the local coast guard unit also attended. The victim was airlifted to Waterford Regional Hospital. His condition today in unknown.
