A woman from Northern Ireland has been found murdered in Australia. The body of 39-year-old Comrie Cullen was discovered in a carpark in a Sydney suburb yesterday. The mother of three had suffered serious injuries to her upper body including stab wounds. A 50-year-old man, who is her former husband, was arrested near the scene. He is being treated in hospital for chest and wrist injuries. Superintendent Gregory Antonjuka from New South Wales Police says it appears she died as a result of a domestic dispute. "We are of the understanding that they were married for a period of 15 or 16 years; and as of late last year - around October - the couple became estranged and there were some domestic incidents related to that reported to police" he said.
