A man has been arrested in connection with an attack that caused the death of a man in Waterford city on Christmas Day.
A man in his 20s was discovered with severe head injuries on Margaret Avenue in the city on Sunday evening but later died in hospital. Gardai are questioning a man in his 40s in relation with the attack. He's currently being detained in Waterford Garda Station. Gardai are still looking for anyone with any information to come forward.
