A man is due to appear at Longford District Court this morning in connection with a number of alleged sex offences at a Midlands GAA grounds.
The man was arrested this morning as part of a Garda investigation into allegations child sex abuse between the years 2000 and 2008. The investigation's also understood to be examining the distribution of child abuse images. It follows a long running investigation involving Gardaí and authorities in the UK.
