Manhunt underway after prison officers stabbed
Two prison officers have been stabbed during a violent escape by an inmate who was being treated at Tallaght hospital in Dublin. The prisoner had been brought to the hospital for treatment this afternoon when he produced a knife stabbing one guard in the stomach and the other in the arm. Their conditions aren't known. It's understood he was then driven away from the hospital on a waiting motorbike. Gardai have launched a manhunt to find the man, who was serving a sentence for armed robbery.
