There's the possibility of some flooding in County Wexford today after Met Eireann issued a status Orange rainfall warning for Leinster. Meterologists are warning heavy and persistent rain is on the way. It's estimated that between 40 and 70 mm of rain will fall over the next 24 hours. The bad weather's coinciding with the traditional exodus for the Bank Holiday weekend. The country's roads will be busy - and the road safety authority is warning motorists in County Wexford to take their time.
