Gardaí have issued a witness appeal following a serious road traffic collision in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, on Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 4pm, emergency services responded to a crash involving a van and a motorcycle at Fairfield on the Enniscorthy to Monart road. The motorcyclist, a man in his late teens, was airlifted to Cork University Hospital, where he remains in treatment for serious injuries. The driver of the van was not injured in the incident. A full technical examination of the scene was carried out by Garda Síochána forensic collision investigators, and the road has since reopened to traffic. Gardaí are now urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward. Road users travelling in the area between 3:40pm and 4:10pm, particularly those with dash-cam footage, are asked to assist with the investigation.
