Nearly 6,500 homes vacant in county wexford

There are almost six and a half thousand vacant homes in County Wexford.

That's according to the latest Geo View Residential Buildings Report. The figure doesn't include holiday homes of which there are also over six thousand in Wexford. Wexford has the third highest number of holiday homes in the country after Kerry and Donegal. A total of 13,842 homes were built in the country last year of the 339 were built in County Wexford.
