New Drug To Tackle Cardiacs And Strokes

Scientists say a new drug can prevent heart attacks and strokes by cutting bad cholesterol levels. A trial of 27-thousand patients already taking statins, found those who took evolocumab saw their bad cholesterol fall by around 60 per cent on average. The study found that for every 74 people who took the drug for two years one heart attack or stroke was prevented.
