A new tourist initiative has been launched for south and west Wexford.
The Norman Way is part of the Ancient East Tourism Trail. The first phase of the new initiative will reach from New Ross to Our Ladies Island which will cover ten Norman sites and castles for tourists to visit. The scheme has been brought about by Failte Ireland and the Wexford County Council and will cost €200,000. This is the first of 3 phases to explore the county's Norman history.
