Sixteen new trainees are to be taken on at Zurich Insurance in Wexford. The scheme is being undertaken in conjunction with Waterford Wexford training Services. The training programme will begin in September. Conor Brennan, manager of Zurich Insurance in Wexford, says it will target people who are long term unemployed. He says they will look for applications, meet the candidates, put them through a streaming process and then select the best sixteen.
