There will be no criminal inquiry arising out of the findings of an internal Garda investigation into exaggerated breath testing.
The report found that the Wexford Garda Division recorded the least amount of wrong figures while the largest number of wrong figures were recorded in the Dublin West Division. The report found breath test figures were exaggerated to the tune of 1.5 million over a seven year period. Senior Garda officers are to review the figures this week following the return of Garda Commissioner Noirin O'Sullivan after her summer break.
