No link to international terrorism in bangkok attack
Thailand's police chief says a bomb attack which killed 20 people in Bangkok on Monday had been planned for at least a month. He has told reporters he believes a network of at least 10 people was responsible for preparing and laying the device, and keeping lookout. Meanwhile the country's prime minister Prayuth Chan-Ocha has insisted there is no link to international terrorism. "Let the police investigate this - why do we have to talk about this?" he said. "last night the United States had already said this is not a terrorist attack, so don't talk about it" he added.
