Oktoberfest Comes to Fethard-on-Sea This Saturday at Neville’s

There’s a taste of Germany coming to Fethard-on-Sea this weekend as Neville’s launches its Oktoberfest celebrations.

Chef Georgios Skotadis, originally from Germany and now living locally with his wife from Ramsgrange, is bringing some traditional German flavours to the family-run business.

From this Saturday, diners can enjoy Oktoberfest favourites including crispy Schweinshaxen, Knödel and Rotkohl, alongside Erdinger on draft served by the mass.

Neville’s has been a family business since the early 1900s and is now in its fifth generation, welcoming both local customers and visitors to the Hook Peninsula.

The restaurant combines traditional Irish pub hospitality with Greek and German influences, reflecting Georgios’ own background.

Neville’s is open Thursday to Monday, with private catering also available. The business is also preparing to launch its Christmas offering shortly.
