Only 3 of the 5 garth brooks gigs given go ahead
Two of the Garth Brooks concerts have been cancelled, which will devastate around 160,000 fans with tickets. It's after Dublin City Council granted permission for just 3 of the 5 gigs due to take place at Croke Park later this month. The council says five concerts would lead to an unacceptable level of disruption for local residents, over an unprecedented and prolonged period. The GAA has confirmed that Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights will go ahead, and at this stage Monday and Tuesday are cancelled. Aiken promotions says they are 'very disappointed' and will issue more information shortly.
