Over a million euro allocated to repair north wexford pier dstorm damage
More than a million Euro has been approved by the government for pier repairs in two North Wexford harbours. 1.2 million Euro is to go to repair damage caused by recent storms to the pier in Courtown while another 55-thousand will be spent on the Cahore pier. Welcoming the swiftness of the government's response, local Labour Councillor Robert Ireton said this means the process of making good the recent damage can now proceed immediately.
