Passage east car ferry users told to take alternative route
The Passage East Car Ferry is out of operation for the next four days. This is due to it's annual routine inspection by the Department of the Marine. It will mean service users will have to make the round trip through New Ross to get to Waterford and beyond. The car ferry will re-open next Monday March 14th at 7am. Meanwhile negotiations are ongoing into the sale of the Passage East Car Ferry. It's been on the market for the past number of months.
