There will be a planned water outage that will affect Ballindaggin and surrounding areas today from 2pm to 6.15pm
It's to allow new tanks to be connected to the network. It comes as Uisce Éireann is continuing upgrade works at the Ballindaggin Water Treatment Plant with new treated water storage tanks now installed and further mechanical works ongoing. It may take two to three hours for full water pressure to return after works are completed, particularly for properties on higher ground or at the edge of the network. Vulnerable customers registered with Uisce Éireann will be contacted directly. Others are encouraged to sign up for free text alerts or follow updates via @IWCare on X and the 24/7 customer care line on 1800 278 278.
