There are a record number of people waiting on trolleys in hospitals around the country today.
Figures released by the INMO show that 612 people are awaiting treatment on trolleys and overflow areas of wards around the country. University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded hospital in the country with 46 people on trolleys and in the overflow areas of wards. Wexford General Hospital has 18 people waiting on trolleys for treatment.
